How does the cool-down timer work?

When you add an item to your shopping list with a cool-down timer, you'll wait 24-72 hours before deciding. This helps reduce impulse purchases—most urges fade within 48 hours!

How do I add items from websites?

Use the Share button in Safari or any shopping app, then select OwnCheck. The item will be added to your cool-down list automatically.

What does Thrifty know about me?

Thrifty (our AI advisor) sees your inventory and shopping list to give personalized advice. All data stays on your device—we don't store your personal information on our servers.

How do achievements work?

You earn achievements by using the app: adding items, resisting impulse purchases, maintaining streaks, and more. There are 23 achievements to unlock!

What's included in Premium?

Premium unlocks unlimited inventory items, all smart tools (Regret Predictor, Work Hours Converter, etc.), unlimited AI chats, and the home screen widget.

How do I restore my purchase?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → Data Management → Clear All Data. You can also delete the app to remove all local data.
